Das O’hara’s ist ein Irisches Bier, das zum ersten Mal im Jahre 1999 gebraut wurde. Es wurde seit dem ausgezeichnet für seine Qualität und Originalität. 

Zu Beginn hat es einen leichten Espressoähnlichen Nachgeschmack, doch je mehr man davon trinkt, desto stärker wird dieser Geschmack. Zusätzlich hat es noch einen starken Eigengeschmack, den wir nicht in Worte zu fassen wissen. 

Die Carlow Brewing Company sagt dazu: „Das Bier ist reich gefüllt mit vielschichtigen Kaffeearomen, vermischt mit einem Hauch von Lakritze.“ 

Durch den starken Kaffeearoma konnte man den Hauch von Lakritze allerdings nicht gut schmecken. 

Lily: Ich trinke sehr gerne und sehr viel Kaffee. Fast genauso gern trinke ich auch Bier. Ein Bier, das beides zusammenfast, ist somit perfekt für mich. Ich finde das O’hara’s Irish Stout wahnsinnig lecker und kann es nur jedem empfehlen, der auch gerne Bier und Kaffee trinkt. 

Lara: Ich trinke eigentlich nie Kaffee, von daher konnte dieses Bier nicht ganz meinen Geschmack treffen. Es war okay, ich hatte schon weit schlimmere, aber es zählt auch nicht zu meinen Favoriten und ich bevorzuge weiter andere Biere. Wenn man Kaffee mag, ist es aber sicher gut.

The O’hara’s is an irish beer, first brewed in 1999. It has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity. 

At the first moment there is a light espresso-like aftertaste but the more you drink the stronger this taste becomes. In addition, it still has a strong taste of its own which we don’t know how to catch in words. 

The Carlow Brewing Company said: “This stout beer is filled with rich complex coffee aromas mingled with light liquorice notes.” 

Because of the strong coffee aroma one could not taste the liquorice very well. 

Lily: I really like to drink coffee and I do it a lot. Nearly as much as I like to drink coffee I like to drink beer. A drink which includes both attributes is perfect for me. I think the O’hara’s Irish stout is very tasty and I recommend this beer to anyone who likes to drink beer and coffee. 

Lara: I don’t drink coffee, so this beer couldn’t really win me over. It was okay, I’ve had much worse, but it’s also not one of my favourites and I still prefer other beers. If you like coffee, it’s probably good.
